Module 1: Discovering your authentic self (May 16, 23 & 30)
To awaken, you must first discover the truth about yourself. The truth of who we are is revealed when we can discern between our story and our authentic nature. a The power of the heart transcends biography, personality and egotistical limits. We rediscover the mystic child within us, the voice of wisdom that’s silenced as We become rational, practical, and thinking adults. This authentic self is filled with knowledge and power that we cannot imagine and it illuminates our higher faculties.
- Your biography is not your identity — you are the storyteller, not the story
- If you can see the difference between your story and yourself, you will find your true nature.
- Your nature is free, open, creative, and unrestricted. It is connected to the source and not dependent upon your personality.
- Beliefs and limitations can be overcome by being true to yourself. Untold possibilities await you!
- These are the doors to personal change. By exploring these stories, you can free yourself from old baggage.
- This baggage is not useless, however — it contains misconstrued truths, discarded riches, and hidden gifts we’re not aware of
Module 2 – The Treasures of the Shadow (June 6, 13 & 20)
This new awareness has led us to recognize that our cut is important.-Hidden in are parts of ourselves, the parts that we don’t like, reject, dismiss or feel shame about. a Personal shadow contains many treasures and gifts. These include our sacred wounds, the fractures and losses that give rise the longing to the Divine, however you define it. We discover that there is no hunger for light without the shadow. as There would be no yin and yang without each other. We can learn to bless ourself in this knowledge and be open to the fruitful dark.
- Each one of us has a This sacred wound motivates us in spirituality; it is also a portal to our inner self-Liberation
- We discover our greatest ally on this spiritual path by exploring this wound.
- Longing reminds us to pay attention to those places where we’re not aligned with truth and goodness — where we imagine ourselves to be autonomous and disconnected from source
- We believe creativity, devotion, life, and all that is possible are the result of our own efforts. a We may be mistaken for fruitful darkness a terrible void
- This realization allows us to be brave and confront our nemeses as they arise.
- You can be self-sufficient-awareness, we no longer run from our shadows — we know that they are there to aid in our healing
Module 3: Freedom From Fear (June 27; July 11 & 18)
We can finally let go of fear of the shadow and see how much of our lives have been devoted to running from ourselves, trying to escape the anxiety of life. Having glimpsed the truth of who we are — which is more than our biographical story — we’re no longer compelled to keep running away or keep ourselves in perpetual motion, and we can finally rest in the truth of our lives. Instead of being constantly busy planning, worrying, or struggling, we can finally stop and be. Be. We are free to live in the present moment without any proof or image to support it. as If you are doing it for the first time.
- The core anxiety in our lives, known as “this terrible freedom” Philosophers call it the choice of “to be or not to be”
- We are no longer confused about who we really are. This question no longer haunts our lives and we don’t live in fear of the truth.
- We realize how much of our lives are spent in distraction — and doing, pushing, striving, struggling, and wanting
- The antidote to doing is being — learning to pause, allowing silence, and leaving room for revelation
- Revelation only comes in the present moment — allowing ourselves to “be here now,” We have new access to our minds, hearts, and spirit
- We recognize that freedom is always present in the moment, and fear fades when we forget to think about the things that cannot be changed.
Module 4: The Mysteries of Love (July 25; August 1 & 8)
Being present can lead to love. Having opened our minds to what we don’t know, and the mysteries of this glorious world, our hearts are opened as well. This opening opens up new avenues for self-connection.-Exploring the mysteries of love in all its forms (romantic and platonic, filial communal, mystic) is our goal. We understand that love is the. sine qua non Our underlying reason for existence; and that love is not personal in its essence, even though we do it with other people. We see that there’s no spiritual life without loving.
- In love, as in Vegas, you have to be present to play; without embodiment there’s no love, and knowing this is greatly liberating
- No matter what form it takes, love is always spiritual. It is fueled by the same source that gives life its existence.
- Desire, attachment, and the demands of the form that love takes are not love, however human and understandable they may be — knowing this is a Self-expression-Love
- Love is not a feeling; it’s a way of being — a verb, not a noun. We can recognize love in the evidences of it.
- Our attitude toward love mirrors our approach to mystery, since love is beyond our control (we can feed it, we can’t create it) — both love and mystery require surrender
- Love creates us, not vice versa. Who we are is determined by how we love.

Module 5: What is Sacred? (August 15, 22 & 29)
Just as we’re formed by love, we’re buoyed and inspired by what we hold sacred. But what does it mean to be sacred? Is sacredness a concept? “set apart from ordinary life,” as it’s sometimes defined? What if the sacred is defined as a belief in God or the imprimatur given by spiritual authority? Or is sacredness? a Subjective quality has nothing to do institutionally, but everything to do what we love. It is important to identify what we consider sacred and why. This helps us find meaning in our lives, clarify our beliefs, guide our decisions with vision and soul, recognize an untapped world beyond what our senses can see, and deepen our understanding of the purpose of life. We come to understand that sacredness is the bridge between the Divine, ourselves, and the Divine.
- Sacredness is a Story, not a fact; it’s entirely subjective, even when shared by a faith group
- The “personal sacred” It is an integral part of daily life a Different “angle of vision” Sacralizes the moment
- Understanding what is sacred helps us to be stronger in our faith journey, however that may look like.
- The sacred is always related to what we love and what it means to be holy as Individuals
- By elevating the spirit and mind, sacredness enhances the experience.
- Through imagination, we’re connected to the Divine using the language of the sacred
Module 6: The purpose of wonder (September 5, 12 & 19)
Wonder and awe allow us to touch God. Nature installed awe as an alarm clock to awaken us from the trance state of so.-called everyday life and alert us the miracles of every moment. Through epiphanies “lustres” (as Ralph Waldo Emerson described such heightened intervals), we’re able to enter into states of grace, when the light of God becomes visible; when the commonest occurrences (a Take a look at a child, a dog’s affection, the slant of light on a a piece of glass) are testaments to our higher purpose as clay-We are footed creatures who keep our eyes on the stars. Also, we’re able to see how the absence of wonder and awe can block us from wisdom and happiness.
- It is hard to feel wonder and amazement.-Wired faculties in our brains are designed to provide higher dimensions of experience.
- We are amazed when we see something new or extraordinary that cannot be explained by our current mental structures.
- A life that is devoid of wonder and awe is diminished and flattened. a Transcendent perspective
- Addiction is the result of awe.-A world that is poor, trying to replace the Divine by pleasure, to satisfy the God-Distractions can make a huge hole in our hearts
- Epiphany is the experience of recognizing the extraordinary in the ordinary — seeing “eternity in a grain of sand”
- Discovering your true self is a source of wonder and great satisfaction.
Module 7: A Whole new life (September 26; October 3 & 10)
We discover there’s no separation between the human and divine, spiritual and material, sacred and profane, holy and unholy; that these boundaries are illusory, wrought from the primary misunderstanding regarding our true nature. We live with more peace, creativity, less cynicism, and less self-consciousness when we are aware of our divine identity.-Judgment, aggression, and pain; more mercy, connection and joy. Our relationships thrive as Do our compassion, our awareness of the things we do not understand, and our gratitude to God for each human life.
- Stop judging yourself (the false self), and you will be able to enter. a A whole new way to live
- With nothing to defend, there’s less aggression; with nothing to prove, there’s less struggle and more wellbeing
- Writing It is a spiritual practice that we can continue to develop and use as a way of being our own witness, healer, and awakener.
- We learn how to ask vital questions that allow us to be free on a daily basis. This allows us to see the root of pain and recognize that it is not ours.
- You can be self-sufficient-We can claim our birthright to happiness and awakening in this lifetime through knowledge
